I'm not sure what your dreams are, but my dream has always been to have a vacation with our kids and grandkids. Parents of all boys seem to be at a disadvantage in that department. Daughters naturally gravitate toward their family. It's just the way it is. We've lived overseas for ten years, so we had planned on bringing Jon and his family to Ecuador to vacation in Ballenita on the coast of Ecuador. Instead we moved back to the States, settled in Bradenton, and this summer we had Jon, Kim and the grands vacation with us on Anna Maria Island.
As I looked out at the ocean yesterday and saw Mark, Jon and the grandkids playing in the water, I teared up. My dream came true!
