On sale in stores today (April 19) is Chicken Soup for the Soul: Too Funny! After two years of a pandemic and constant news of the war in Ukraine, it's nice to be able to laugh again. And these stories will definitely make you laugh out loud. My story is titled "Mission Accomplished" and it's about an incident that happened during our missionary orientation in Miami, Florida. We were outdoors during a time of silent prayer when I happened to sit on a mound of fire ants. I broke the silence with my outburst, "Get it out of my pants!" It only got worse after that until my husband ended up chasing me around the campus of Miami Christian College -- swatting my backside. I won't tell you how my ordeal ended, but let's just say we made a lasting impression on our mission board.
